The
City of Laguna Hills has been established upon one of the richest
fossil sites in the United States. Over the last 17 million
years, Laguna Hills scenery has changed from a shallow tropical
sea to a deep marine basin to a shoreline and eventually to
the grassy hills and valleys of today.
Remains of the diverse life that once inhabited this region
have been displayed throughout the lobby of the Community Center
for public education and enjoyment. The murals represent the
changing scenery Laguna Hills. |
